Book review - Middle childhood (7-12years)

Seuss, Dr. (2003). Oh, the places you’ll go. London: HarperCollins

This is an absolutely magical, inspirational and fun book. This book is perfect for describing the ups and downs, the joy, the sad, bad, beautiful moments, the trials and tribulations – all these adventures that make and help us during our journey in life. In the beginning of the story, it begins with the highs. This is a natural progression for all people but at this age, they would probably be more in tune with trying to figure out their place in society, in social circles and amongst family and friends. The character shows no fears until the inevitable happens, meaning with the highs come the lows. This is to be expected in our journey. This book will teach your child/ren the magic that is the journey of life. In every aspect of life there are always the great moments that make life amazing but sometimes there are also the sad and bad that will make it hard for them. This book is a great read for middle childhood age group 7-12.
